Christmas Decorations 2009
I love my christmas tree this year. It's the same one I have had since the year Jacob was born. However, this year I bugged my mom and little sister Miranda to come and put it up for me. With the babies being in the NICU we have not had time for such things. We did pink and silver this year in celebration of having twin girls! It's so exciting to have girls in the house.

Cookies!
I found this in the better homes and gardens magazine, and it's a really fun and easy way to decorate cookies. Simply purchase the white chocolate covered oreos and some tubes of colored decorating gel and let the kids decorate.

Mickey Mouse!
My husband loves Mickey Mouse, so we decided to decorate the nursery for the twins in Mickey Mouse. We found this which seems to work for either a boy or a girl and ordered it online. I love it!

Summer Banner
I had planned to make this banner before going on vacation, but decided it was best to wait until I was home alone to make it. Tonight was my first chance, and I love how it turned out.

Natural Bridge, VA
On our way to Pennsylvania we stopped for the weekend at Natural Bridge in Virginia. This is a bridge that was naturally carved out by the Cedar Creek which runs under it. It is now a historical landmark in Virginia. There is a short trail which starts here at the bridge and ends at a peaceful waterfall. We also visited a wax museum and Professor Cline's haunted mansion, well kind of, Jacob and I ducked out of the haunted mansion midway through at the chicken exit.
Butterflies!
I love butterflies, and here at Natural Bridge they were everywhere. They would just fly up to you and sit on your shoulder.

Constitution Center Philadelphia, PA
Yesturday afternoon we went to visit the National Constitution Center. It was the most interesting historical museum that I have ever visited, and included a short story of We The People, a quick history lesson.

Silhouettes at Hershey Park
While we were at Hershey Park on friday we came across this little stand where they do silhouettes. I decided to have one made for each of the boys. I can not believe this lady does this hand cut with scissors, and it only took about 4 or 5 minutes for each of them. I think they turned out great. I can't wait to get home and frame them.
