We found a great park near our house which has a toddler play area away from the bigger kids area. It's much better for us
with two littles. I really like this toddler area because they can actually climb, play, and slide by themselves for the most part, and they too find this exciting. See how excited she is to be doing it all by herself!

Anjali likes to go down on her belly. I swear they don't do anything the same way. I remember going to one of their first well-baby appointments and one of the nurses ask me if I could tell a difference in their personalities at that point. I looked at my husband and we both shook our heads no. She must have been around twins before.
2011-2012 Homeschool Plans
I love, love, love this time of year. I so enjoy planning the curriculum for the upcoming year. For the twins, who will be turning 2 soon, they will be starting a very part-time nursery school in September two days a week which will help me finish up classes (only two more semesters left, yay). This semester I will be taking a curriculum planning course which will allow me to make plans for the girls during days they're at home. Christian will be starting high school this year and will be attending the same high school that both his father and I attended. Jacob will be starting 6th grade this year, and is a little sad that he'll miss that middle school experience of changing classes and lockers and such. Maybe I can recreate for him what middle school is really like, and Im sure by the end of the first week he'll be sick of it, lol. He does however enjoy homeschool for the most part. I plan to do as much hands on work in our studies as we can through the use of science museums and living history museums, which we have so much of in this area. I've collected so many books that I want to use with him this year that Im affraid I may have too much in certain areas. Summer has just kicked off and Im already looking forward to the upcoming school year!

Grandma & Grandpa
They're both gone now and I so wish I could just call and talk to them one more time. I wish I could spend just one more day with them. I wish my grandpa could have got to meet my girls. He would have loved them dearly. I wish they were here to see my boys grow into men.
