A little late but I did the important part, take pictures!!! The first day of Kindergarten was August 31st & the girls love their school, their friends, and their teacher. It's been a very easy transition for them. The last pic is one I took last week on picture day when they got home from school, they wanted me to take it to send to grandma. So sweet!
We had such a fun weekend! First, we let the girls adopt a kitty; they've been begging for a kitty for 3 years now. They named her Ruffles & she watches tv! Friday school was out & I took them to see a live show called Biggity Bad & the Three Pigs & out for lunch at the Purple Plum. Saturday morning we left early to head to Pennsylvania at the Hershey Park stadium to see Disney on Ice! We all loved it! Beans was clapping & moving about with the music, Vaishali kept saying "I love this & I want to do this when I grow up" & Anjali was very focused on the show. Me & Daddy sang along to the songs because we know them ALL ;-) After Disney on Ice we went to an Indian Buffet for lunch & then back to hershey park for chocolate world. On our way home we passed by the HobLob to look at Christmas Decor & such. Today has been spent at home relaxing & getting ready for the week ahead. Fun weekend!
I'm enjoying a day off from work with beautiful weather! Just sitting outside on the hammock with the girls :-)
We went to NC for a quick weekend trip on the 4th of July. I can't believe it but I didn't take any pics until the last day when the girls visited their cousins. I kept meaning to take pics with the boys & then later forgot :-(
We celebrated a half birthday on June 19th. She weighed nearly 17 and a half pounds. Smiles a giggles all the time and adores her sisters. We had yummy mini cupcakes & gave her a jumperoo & some little toys. She was working on a little tooth that has since come in. We love our happy beans!
Since I have so much to post, and I never do, I'm going to start doing seasonal posts I guess. We did a lot in the spring this year. My husband's parents & niece came for a two month visit from India for the first time ever. We took a vacation to Orlando & visited Disney world, SeaWorld, did the Holy Land Experience, Niagara Falls, DC, and celebrated Easter, 3 birthdays, an anniversary & Mothers day together! We had a wonderful spring, well all except for Vaishali's tonsillectomy & adenoid removal!
This is the first year we've ever really celebrated St Patrick's day and the girls really enjoyed it. In the morning before school I gave them some St Pattys themed bows for their hair and green necklaces. At school they did St Pattys crafts & made a leprechaun trap. After lunch we made a green cake and then I hid leprechaun gold all over the house. After their hunt for leprechaun gold we did a treat toss to collect their candy loot. They said it was the best day ever! I can't believe I only took one picture & a sweet pic of beans.
Arya is such a cute little chunk with her chipmunk cheeks. I took her to the doctor the other day and she weighs 10 pounds 11 ounces! The girl is growing good! She's so sweet and loves to be held. She sleeps best when she's laying on Daddys belly. She will cry if you put her down and stops instantly the moment you pick her up. Sometimes she'll even stop if she hears you coming or sees that you're coming to get her, smart little girly. She's starting to try cooing when you talk to her. I love it!
